You deserve more in your healing journey…

Insurance-based therapy often means therapists with high caseloads, rigid rules, and limited time - making it hard for therapists to show up fully present.
INVEST IN CARE ON YOUR TERMS — NOT INSURANCE’S RULES
WHEN YOU CHOOSE PRIVATE PAY WITH KATHERINE:
You stay in control – Your therapy is based on your goals set by you and your therapist, not insurance restrictions.
No limits or labels – No mandatory diagnosis, session caps, or arbitrary rules around treatment that focus on the profit of the insurance company, not medical necessity of your care.
Privacy protected – Your information stays between you and your therapist - insurance doesn’t have access to any information.
Holistic options – Katherine can seamlessly incorporate alternative complementary practices like Reiki, sound healing, and other unique modalities for deeper support.
Specialist-level care – Katherine is a highly-trained therapist who understands trauma, holistic healing, and exactly what you’re going through. She can be fully present and sensitively attuned to you and your needs, without the burnout from high-caseloads, generalized approaches, and red-tape from insurance companies.
THERAPY SHOULD FEEL INTENTIONAL AND PERSONALIZED — NOT RUSHED OR DICTATED BY A SYSTEM.
Private pay allows for the highest quality of care and flexibility to truly support your needs.
A clear breakdown of your options for psychotherapy that integrates mind, body, and spirit.

Katherine Rose Therapy is considered an “out-of-network” private-pay therapy practice. We accept cash-pay, and also support clients with PPO insurance/out of network benefits in getting sessions reimbursed.
After your session(s), you may request a "superbill” from Katherine to submit to your health insurer and potentially receive partial or full reimbursement for your therapy session(s).
-
Yes! If you decide to submit a superbill to your health insurer, Katherine has partnered with payment processor and superbill handler Thrizer to ease this process.
For clients with a PPO insurance plan and/or out-of-network benefits, you can now pay for sessions through Thrizer and have them automatically submit a superbill to your health insurer to attempt for reimbursement — saving you the time and hassle of manual submission to your health insurer.
You may also use Thrizer to check your out-of-network benefits, deductible, and more at no cost.
The only instance when you have to pay a fee is if you receive reimbursement from your insurer (a small fee per reimbursement).
If your superbill reimbursement request gets denied by your insurance company, you do not have to pay anything.

This is all completely dependent on what YOUR goals are and your needs. I am here to be completely in-tune with your therapeutic needs so you receive the more personalized, attentive support. We may explore an inner-child exercise, allow you to speak to your different “parts,” guide you through a somatic awareness experience, engage in EMDR, or discern what your deepest inner guidance (your “soul”) is yearning for. Every session is fluid and flexible to meeting you exactly where you are at.
-
This is again, completely dependent on your needs, goals, and whatever is best suited for where you are at. We may collaboratively decide you want to meet weekly - we may decide that you can test out bi-weekly. We may want to sprinkle in a few EMDR Intensives for some deeper, holistic work. It really all depends - but ultimately, I am here to support you in honoring your highest good - and your voice is the most important one in the room.

You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost.
Under the law, health care providers are required to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for all medical services, including psychotherapy services.
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services.
You can ask your health care provider for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service. While it is not possible for a therapist to know, in advance, how many psychotherapy sessions may be necessary or appropriate for a given person, this form provides an estimate of the cost of services provided.
If you receive a bill that is $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call (800) 985-3059.
